OCD Moment

As if I didn't have enough to do after a 1 month trip I made the mistake of turning on the TV while paying bills this morning. I turned on BBC for some unknown reason and watched a show on cleaning houses. It wasn't really bothering me until they got to the peoples bedrooms and then I suddenly had this insane urge to wash ALL our bedding and burn the matresses and stuffed animals. The matresses and stuffed animals survived my sudden tyrade but it is still under consideration. We will all enjoy super clean beds sheets, blankets, and pillows (yes I washed the pillows) for at least one night!

Decor Fun

I promised the kiddo's months ago that we could decorate their bedrooms. It is slow, and ongoing. They may think it is fun, but a career in interior decorating is not in my future. I have now come to realize there needs to be more on the walls besides fresh paint, fingerprints, and/or Elizabeth's impromptu wall art. My idea was to take some goofy/fun pics of the kids and put them in frames. I have picked a few of my favorites. The kids loved this little project!
My friend Jenny keeps asking me to take pictures of the rooms and post them. I will, once I feel like they actaully look like I tried. They are no where near that yet. For now, I will just say the girls room is pink, and not becuase I like pink, I don't. I just caved to their incessant pleas for pink. It isn't as bad as I thought. We are going for a dinosaur theme in the boys room, so the walls are "dino" green, I love it! With all the awesome fossils we have collected with grandpa it is looking pretty good. Thanks Grandpa R for all the fossil hunting adventures!
